Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Anyspace Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (“we”, “us”), which makes mangoroad. They cover the mangoroad iPhone app, its templates and this website. By using mangoroad you agree to them, so please read them. Apple’s standard licence terms for apps also apply.

Using mangoroad

mangoroad lets you pick a template, add your own photos and videos, and export a finished video or post. You need to be at least 13 to use it, and old enough in your country to agree to these terms (or have a parent or guardian agree for you). You can browse without an account; signing in with Apple keeps your account and subscription with you.

You’re responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us at hello@mangoroad.app if you think someone else has used it.

Your photos, videos and exports

What you put into mangoroad is yours, and so is what you make with it. The app works on your photos and videos on your phone and doesn’t upload them to us, so we don’t need, and don’t take, any rights to them.

Only add photos and videos you have the right to use, and get permission from the people in them before you post. You are responsible for what you export and share, and for following the rules of the places you post it, such as Instagram and TikTok.

Templates and what you can do with them

Our templates, their designs, graphics, fonts and media, and the app itself belong to us or the people we license them from. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them in the app to make videos and posts, and to share what you make anywhere, including on social media accounts that earn money.

You may not:

• copy, extract, resell or redistribute the templates or their assets on their own, or use them to build a competing product;
• copy, modify, reverse engineer or interfere with the app, except where the law allows it;
• use mangoroad to make anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexual involving minors, or that infringes someone else's rights;
• use mangoroad to impersonate anyone or to mislead people.

Music

Some templates are cut to a popular song that we don’t supply: the export is silent and the app tells you which song to add on Instagram or TikTok, under that platform’s music licence. Music that’s inside an export comes from tracks we’re licensed to provide, for use in what you make with mangoroad.

Other brands

Some templates are styled after the look of other apps and services, such as a social media feed. Those names and logos belong to their owners. mangoroad isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by them.

mangoroad Pro

Some templates and features need a mangoroad Pro subscription. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through your Apple Account, at the price and for the period shown before you buy.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
• A subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before it.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings (in the app: Settings, then Manage subscription). Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
• If you have a free trial, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; you can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

If we change the price of a subscription, Apple will tell you before the change applies, and you can cancel before it does.

Changes and availability

We add, change and retire templates and features over time, and we may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll let you know in the app before it applies, and if you keep using mangoroad afterwards you accept the new terms. We try to keep mangoroad running smoothly but can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Ending

You can stop using mangoroad at any time and delete your account in the app, under Settings. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel an Apple subscription; cancel that in your Apple Account settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents us.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit. Otherwise, we’re not responsible for losses that weren’t foreseeable, for business losses, or for how other platforms treat what you post. Keep your own copies of anything important: exports live on your phone and in your Photos.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to its courts. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you also keep the protection of your local consumer law and can bring a claim in your local courts.
